For the last ten years, RE/MAX has been the exclusive real estate sponsor of Children’s Miracle Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to generating funds and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across North America. Since 1992, RE/MAX associates have raised more than $57 million for the charity through various fundraisers and donations made from RE/MAX Miracle Home transactions. RE/MAX is proud to help CMN achieve its goal of ensuring that hospitalized children receive the finest medical care.

As a member of the Washington, DC area-based RE/MAX Premier team, Byron Hudtloff is actively involved in efforts to help sick children in the community. Over the past five years, he, along with members of the RE/MAX Premier staff, has raised over $200,000 for CMN, making the office the top RE/MAX contributor on the east coast. Byron proudly donates a percentage of his sales commissions to CMN through the RE/MAX Miracle Home program. In 2004, Byron was among the top-5 of over 140 RE/MAX Premier agents in the amount donated to CMN. His contributions directly benefit Washington, DC’s Children’s National Medical Center, one of CMN’s participating hospitals.

Byron has also been instrumental in the planning of one of the most exciting fundraising events in the area. The RE/MAX Premier CMN Rock-N-Ride allows motorcycle enthusiasts to engage in their favorite hobby while helping a great cause. Last year 75 riders came out and rode 62 miles helping to raise over $20,000 for Children’s National Medical Center. Yet people need not ride a motorcycle to participate. In fact, Byron was one of many who stayed behind to help oversee the event which included a raffle, entertainment and a bbq lunch.

Since its inception three years ago, the CMN Rock-N-Ride has become one of the premier RE/MAX fundraising events and has served as a model for other offices around the globe.
